ADERANT Enhances Business Management Solution

Support Global Operations
ADERANT Expert Release 7.5 includes comprehensive functionality designed to meet the statutory and financial reporting needs of law firms with global operations. Firms can meet all local requirements, no matter how complex, without impacting internal global operational reporting.

ADERANT Expert's chart of account structure has been expanded to allow for the association and organization of unlimited charts. Each distinct chart structure can be associated with a book or multiple books, providing firms with the ability to transact and report in multiple account formats. Additionally, firms can prepare, draft, post, allocate, and cancel credit notes.

These new capabilities allow firms to adhere to local generally accepted accounting and tax recording rules, comply with FASB and IASB standards, and still generate accurate financial reports on their global operations.

Streamline Ebilling
In response to the growing client demand for e-commerce, ADERANT Expert Release 7.5 includes powerful functionality for the creation and processing of ebills and the management of ebilling support data. Firms can produce both a client-facing invoice as well as an electronic bill during the prebill edit cycle, which ensures that both documents are created using the same instance of billing data.

ADERANT Expert Release 7.5 also includes a robust rules engine to help firms comply with matter terms and reduce the number of post-submission issues and rejections. E-bills are automatically screened and validated based on firm-defined rules before electronic invoices are sent. This provides firms with greater flexibility over the release and posting of e-bills and increases the Insight billing personnel have into the disposition of e-bills.

Additionally, the application fully supports the LEDES XML Version 2 standard. The Legal Electronic Data Exchange Standard, or LEDES™, file format is the legal industry's open standard for the electronic exchange of data, especially billing information.

Microsoft Windows Vista-Compatible User Interface
Release 7.5 also includes a new graphical user interface that is compatible with Microsoft Windows Vista and Microsoft Office 2007. The new user interface provides a clean, consistent look and feel throughout all ADERANT Expert applications.

The enhanced interface also improves ADERANT Expert's usability. It makes use of new icons, buttons, fonts, and color pallets as well as gradients, highlight contrasts, and visual artifacts to improve information visibility and make functionality more easily accessible.

The application will be generally available October 31, 2007.
